When I used to work at Skyservice I would run into celebrities on a weekly basis. It was pretty cool, but I kind of got used to it after a while. Celebrities are people too and some of them can be interesting to talk to and others can be jerks (most of them were really nice though).

This has changed since moving to Halifax. There aren't that many famous folks hanging around town and even if there were, not too many of them would be hanging out at the law school, Dal Arena or my apartment (the 3 places I spend the most time). Yesterday however, I was in the left turn lane at the busiest intersection in Halifax. I looked in my mirror, and I am 99.98% positive that the passenger in the car behind me was Rick Mercer. I have to look through my rear view mirror. I didn't want to do the creepy staring in the mirror, but at the same time it was tough to tell. Made for a far more interesting story than talking about my Business Associations Exam. It was 3 hours long, had 3 sections....
