: Chris King's 1st Amendment PageKingCast, a penny press pamphleteer, demands a formal response from Nashua Police and City Attorney on Kelly Ayotte/GOP First Amendment abuse at Joe Arpaio rally.
By Christopher King
Even though I have a history in professional journalism prior to law school and blogging, I start with this excellent 2006 blog entry from Liberty and Culture as I address U.S. Senate hopeful Kelly Ayotte and the GOP's repeated threats to arrest me:
.......but I've not received a call or any other correspondence from them. That is interesting because my role as someone with a Communications degree (minor in Rhetoric) who has worked for a large daily (Indianapolis Star) and two high-circulation weeklies (Cleveland Edition/sales and Call & Post, Editor, photojournalist) certainly establishes me as a bona fide journalist. As my high school noted, I work for Fair Play. And Kelly Ayotte can't take any of that away from me, much as she would like to. And you know she and GOP would love to take it away because all of this could have been avoided with a simple apology as requested, read it here.
At any rate, I have won First Amendment trials and know just as much First Amendment Law as they do anyway, which is why when NH ACLU didn't respond 3 years ago I did it myself, and City Attorney Bennett (and Nashua Republican Chair Dennis Hogan, Esq.) agreed with Alderman Teebom and me relative to Julia Earl's fascist, restrictive school board speech policies.
