Wednesday's Three Burning Legal Questions

By Bruce Carton

ADVERTISEMENTS
Here are today's three burning legal questions, along with the answers provided by the blogosphere. 1) Question: I'm totally stoked. Next week is the vote on Prop. 19. Marijuana is going to be legal! What kind of ID do I need to vote? Answer: Sorry, Spicoli, you missed the whole election -- that vote was yesterday! Your side lost. (CBS News, Pot Law Hopes Dashed as California Votes Down Prop. 19) 2) Question: H-A-P-P-Y Meal. Haaaaaaaappppy Meal. How many times do I have to say it? Where's my kid's toy to go with these chicken nuggets? Answer: Chicken nuggets? Sorry, those plus the chocolate milk have more than 600 calories. No toy for you. (Chicago Tribune, San Francisco bans most Happy Meals) 3) Question: I work in airport security. I've got a great gag -- I'll take this bag of harmless white powder and tell people going through security that it is cocaine that I found amongst their property in the X-ray bin. Hilarious, right?! Answer: Not hilarious, and will likely lead to you being fired, at a minimum. (Consumerist, TSA Officer Pretended To Find Cocaine In Flyers' Bags)
