: Legal Blog WatchYou're Nobody Until You Have a Mock Twitter Account Lampooning You
By Bruce Carton
ADVERTISEMENTS
In the year 2010, you're nobody until somebody sets up a mock Twitter account making fun of you on a daily basis. British Petroleum? Check. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev? Check. As discussed earlier today, it's "all TSA all the time" now on the Internet so it was probably inevitable that we would end up with @TSAgov (via Kashmir Hill). @TSAgov is the work of "Agent Smith," whose bio states that "We pat your groin. We see you naked. We're the doormen to the sky. Why? Because everybody is a terrorist." Agent Smith takes a break from his duties as a fake TSA officer to issue tweets such as: Your privacy is safe with us. We have Agent Grover monitoring the scanner images, and he's legally blind. #tsa #tsagov about 1 hour ago via TweetDeck Do you have what it takes to be a TSA agent? Does the Constitution bring the words "everything's negotiable" to mind? #tsa #tsagov about 2 hours ago via TweetDeck Why does the TSA support child labor? Small hands mean more thorough searches. #tsa #tsagov about 3 hours ago via TweetDeck Some say we touched a nerve with airline passengers. Heh, we touched more than that. Hey-ooo....Full post as published by Legal Blog Watch on November 17, 2010 (boomark / email).
