For some reason, about this time last week it occured to me that I could spend 10-12 hours a day really learning evidence inside and out and still have the potential to get a C on the exam, or I could spend enough time to kind of understand evidence and still possibly get a C on the exam. Because lawschool and exams in particular have been such a crapshoot for me in the past I decided that wasting an entire week and agonzing over mastering the subject was soooooo not worth it when it could still leave me with a sub-par grade. If I'm still possibly going to get a sub-par grade then I might as well have some fun, hang out with friends, and drink some beer!!
I know a lot of people would say that the chance for a sub-par grade decreases when you increase the preparation, but I don't really buy that theory and this time around, for this particular exam, I just didn't care.
So how did the exam go??
Well, I'm pretty sure I passed, and at this point that's all that really matters.
I still have a paper to write and a clinic project to finalize, both are due this Thursday. I think instead of getting to work on either of those things I'm going to procrastinate a little bit more :)
Anyways, in the spirit of procrastinating and taking a break from studying here is one of my all time favorites on YouTube (yes I'm a former band/orchestra geek in denial- that's why I find this funny!)
And if you have more time to procrastinate check this one out, also funny!
