Three People Arrested in New Jersey Drug Bust

Three people were recently arrested in a Trenton drug bust during which officials seized about 200 Oxycodone pills and half a pound of marijuana. According to NJ.com, the arrest was made in Trenton on East State Street. Police arrived with a warrant for one of the men and discovered 200 Oxycodone pills, half a pound of marijuana, $2,000 in cash, and a loaded handgun. After finding the drugs, police arrested two other residents in the house for various drug and weapon offenses as well. The severity of drug crime charges in New Jersey generally depends on the amount of drugs seized and the defendant?s prior criminal record. In cases where large quantities of drugs are seized, defendants could face charges such as possession of controlled substances for sale, which is a much more serious charge than simple possession...continue to full post
