: FinancialCounselEccleston Law Investigates Milowe Allen Brost for Operating a $300 Million Ponzi Scheme
By James Eccleston
The attorneys at Eccleston Law are investigating Milowe Allen Brost (aka Milo Brost) for operating a $300 million Ponzi scheme with over 3,000 investors under the guise of various companies controlled by Brost including Capital Alternatives Inc. and Institute For Financial Learning Group of Companies, Inc.
Brost perpetuated the scheme by recruiting and training salespersons whose role in the fraudulent scheme was to bring in new investors under a multi-level marketing model.
It is believed that from at least 1999 to 2008, Brost used more than eighty entities to issue securities to investors and to disguise the movement of investor funds among more than eighty bank accounts, located in United States, Canada, Honduras, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Panama, the Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, Malaysia, and Portugal. Brost also acted under a number of personal aliases to perpetrate this fraud.
Eccleston Law represents individual and institutional investors to recover their investment losses caused by securities and investment fraud. Our attorneys also help victims of Ponzi schemes pursue recovery by submitting claims with receiverships established by the SEC and by assisting victims with the filing of a Theft Loss Tax Deduction with the IRS.
If you have lost money investing in a Ponzi scheme and would like to discuss your recovery options, please contact Jim Eccleston at the Eccleston Law Offices at 312-332-0000.
