The Legal's "Top 10 Lateral Hires of 2010"

Each year, the editorial staff of The Legal Intelligencer looks back in our archives from past year at all the lateral moves that we reported in Pennsylvania.

When narrowing down that list to get to this, our ?Top 10 Lateral Hires of 2010,? we take into account the effect the departure had on the former firm, the gain a lateral addition represented for his or her new firm, and the general buzz created in the market at word of the switch. Insights from those in the industry as well as historical background from our own archives also play a role in determining who makes the list.
