: FinancialCounselEccleston Law Investigates Warren Nadel and Investment Firms for Generating $8 Million in Illicit Fees
By James Eccleston
The attorneys at Eccleston Law have launched an investigation into Long Island-based money manager Warren D. Nadel for orchestrating a fraudulent investment program through his two investment firms, Warren D. Nadel & Co. (a broker-dealer) and Registered Investment Advisers, LLC (an investment advisory firm).
It is believed that Nadel induced his clients to invest in a purportedly liquid, cash management strategy that engaged in various market transactions with preferred utility securities that were held for short periods of time to generate capital appreciation.
Beginning in 2007, Nadel realized that the market was not sufficiently liquid to permit the free trade of these securities at attractive prices, so Nadel concealed these conditions and simply traded these securities between clients at his two firms, often at inflated prices. Contrary to the representations, he was making to his clients, these transactions were not made on the open market on the client?s behalf. This scheme gained Nadel and his firms over $8 million in illicit fees.
Eccleston Law Offices, P.C. represents individual and institutional investors in securities disputes nationwide. Our attorneys have extensive experience representing investors in arbitration and litigation disputes with securities broker-dealers and investment advisory firms, and have recovered tens of millions of dollars for investors
If you have lost money investing with Warren Nadel, Registered Investment Advisers, or Warren D. Nadel & Co., or have more information about this fraud, please contact Jim Eccleston at the Eccleston Law Offices at 312-332-0000 to discuss your recovery options.
