: FinancialCounselEccleston Law Launches Investigation of Chicago Hedge Fund Manager Charged with Fraud
By James Eccleston
Following recent fraud charges, the attorneys at Eccleston Law have launched an investigation of James Brandolino for his role in orchestrating a $3.5 million fraud in and around Joliet, Illinois. Brandolino was registered with the National Futures Association and had trading privileges at the Chicago Board of Trade. Brandolino operated several entities including Lloyd Lewis Capital Inc., Falcon Trading Group Inc. and Falcon Capital Partners LLC.
Since 2003, Brandolino allegedly raised more than $4.7 million from high net worth investors to invest futures trading and commodity pools. Brandolino told investors that these investments were profitable, and returned approximately $1.1 million to investors.
However, contrary to his representations that the investments were performing well, Brandolino had in reality lost half the total funds invested. Brandolino spent the remainder of the investor money to support his extravagant lifestyle, which included the purchase of luxury automobiles and an interest in a condominium in Greece. Brandolino now faces a maximum of 20 years of in prison if convicted on the fraud charges.
Eccleston Law represents individual and institutional investors to recover their investment losses caused by securities and investment fraud. Our attorneys also help victims of Ponzi schemes pursue recovery by submitting claims with receiverships established by the SEC and by assisting victims with the filing of a Theft Loss Tax Deduction with the IRS.
If you have lost money investing James Brandolino, you may be entitled to a recovery. Please contact Jim Eccleston at the Eccleston Law Offices at 312-332-0000 to discuss your case.
