People are agreeing to be offended by Groupon's Super Bowl advertisement. The ad is offensive only because all good art is offensive. Has there ever been a better representation of commercialism? Culture is not something that has aesthetic or intrinsic value. Culture is not something that unifies different people into tolerable, civilized and advanced society. No, culture has no value - unless it is something that can be commodified and consumed.
