Various web sites, like MySpace and Facebook, and discriminating against sex offenders, simply due to a label. Now, let's look at the definition of discrimination from Merriam-Webster: Definition: 1) A: the act of discriminating B: the process by which two stimuli differing in some aspect are responded to differently 2) the quality or power of finely distinguishing 3) A: the act, practice, or an instance of discriminating categorically rather than individually B: prejudiced or prejudicial outlook, action, or treatment (racial discrimination) And here is what is said on Wikipedia: Discrimination toward or against a person or group is the treatment or consideration based on class or category rather than individual merit...

This is just typical fear-mongering, IMO.  Instead of kicking thousand of people off, who may not be doing anything wrong, why don't they create a site specifically for kids?  But, that would be too obvious, like maybe this social networking site...
