Looks like someone registered an "injusticeinseattle" dot com domain name recently. Since I was asked about it I want to make it clear that it is not mine, nor do I know who registered it, nor what their intentions for the site might be.

Until then, I'd recommend against using the contact form they set up there.
Could be someone with the same interest in stopping police misconduct that we have, (we hope), or it could be some guild members up to no good, (wouldn't put it past them), or it could be a spammer or phisher trying to gather personal information since it asks for your name and contact info instead of accepting anonymous reports, or it could be some nice soul who saw how we kept getting threats to shut us down and made a placeholder for us (though I doubt it since it's hosted on godaddy, which shut down ratemycop.com due to police pressure)...

Who knows? I don't.

Sure, you might think my site doesn't do much good, and I'm always the first to admit I'm not good at this precisely because of my injuries and since I'm a victim of police misconduct and detainee abuse myself...

but nearly every day I see people using our links to misconduct resources and attorney information and I can only hope it's helping other victims because I know how lost I was when I was trying to find all this information on my own.

I'd hate to see someone try to prevent other victims like me from getting they help they need by hijacking domain names or slandering us. So, until we find out what the site is about, better safe than sorry.

Be careful out there.

Update:
The more I look at this site, the more suspicious I get... consider the very specific language in this notice "Not Necessarily"?

Why use that specific language? I'm really starting to think this was put up by some cops.

So, if it is? ...and if they slander me there? Nothing I can do about it but let them abuse me some more. Sure, I hope my intuition isn't right, but it's really suspicious that someone would set up a URL like that.

PS... and before anyone thinks I'd be upset if someone else came along to write about this stuff, I'm hoping someone better than me does. Because frankly, I'm so damn frightened of the police here that I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack every time they send me a message. If only you people knew how it felt to be tortured by those heartless people.
