And How Will This Arizona Bankruptcy Lawyer Know That You Didn't Do Your Bankruptcy Homework?

On the one hand, if you come into my nifty not-child-proof office, with low-hanging framed certificates and big glass panel next to the door, and you bring two tiny, energetic, certificate-frisbeeing kiddies, you didn't do your bankruptcy homework.

Doesn't mean I don't love 'em, just means they really don't belong in my personal office while we're trying to figure out how to make your half mil in debt vanish.

If you make it into my office, or onto a first phone call with me, and you say, "What's this means test thing?", you didn't do your homework!

If you ask, "What are the exemptions in Arizona?", I know you didn't do the bankruptcy homework.

If you ask, "How long is this thing going to take?", you didn't do your homework.

If I ask what your house is worth, and you stammer and say, "Well, when we bought it...and recently some houses sold...but they were different because...." I know there was no homework done!

Now, I'm gonna love you just as much if you don't do your homework before we talk.

But you won't get optimum benefit out of your freebie bankruptcy consultation, you know?

In fact, you may wind up wasting your time, entirely!

Fortunately for all of us, that's not fatal, or even fattening. And I'm still going to love you just as much.

I just won't be able to help you as much!
