: Chris King's 1st Amendment PageKingCast presents: A word to the wise about Defamation.

Photo Courtesy KingCast.netSome people think that me exercising my opinion in telling Gregory W. Floyd "You murdered Liko Kenney" constitutes Defamation. It does not, for several reasons that I don't need to explain in this space. And if he sued me for it I would welcome the discovery process as I explain why my statement was not made with reckless disregard for the Truth; take his Deposition.
Elsewhere in the blogosphere there are a number of people who have said false things about me. I allow it to happen up until it reaches the point where someone crosses the line, and especially after a specific warning. When I am good and finished with the issues pertaining to the Franconia shooting tragedy I will address that matter as well.
Practice pointers: If you really feel threatened by someone you should approach LE as soon as the purported threat occurs, not 10 months later. Also, don't lie about threats and think you can get away with it and tell people "he's a dangerous black man." American Tower paid handsomely for that, and so too, will you.
That is all.
