View the article here 07/01/2009 By Sarah West A recent Missouri Supreme Court ruling will require all sex offenders in Missouri, regardless of when or where the offense occurred, to register with the state sex offender registry. Missouri has maintained a public registry since Jan. 1, 1995, and although it was originally retroactive to offenses committed since 1979, a Missouri Supreme Court ruling in 2006 only required offenders as of Jan. 1, 1995, to register.
