Class?  Class?  Shudd Up! - Judge Richards is getting poor reviews for reportedly telling lawyers to "Shut Up!" today in class, er, court.  Apparently, the noise level in misdemeanor domestic violence court is stressing out the Judge, causing his frustration level to nearly equal that of the alleged victims who can't get the SAO to honor their wishes and stop prosecuting their loved ones.  All in a day's work, your Honor.Speaking of DVU - Mr. Satz is right in his assessment that there are not two standards of justice in Broward.  There are many more.For instance, there's the "Domestic Violence" standard, whereby charges will be filed even with a victim who doesn't want to prosecute, will not appear in court, and who tells the SAO that events as reported by the police did not occur that way at all...continue to full post
