Versand von E-Mails an Kanzleien mit zweifelhaftem Hintergrund

Ein Kollege aus dem hiesigen Kammerbezirk hat uns die ihm Ende August 2008 zugesandte nachstehende E-Mail übermittelt. Vor einem Öffnen derartiger E-Mails mit Verlinkungen kann nur gewarnt werden.

Der Kollege wurde aufgefordert, seine Personalien bekannt zu geben. Wir haben dem Kollegen geraten, keinesfalls auf die E-Mail zu antworten. Es liegt der Verdacht nahe, dass Personalien und insbesondere Bankdaten für rechtswidrige Zwecke erlangt werden sollen.

Die E-Mail hatte folgenden Inhalt:

From: Mr. H. Mark
Re: Application for your legal service

I am Mr. H. Mark, A London based business man. I got your contact through my search on the Internet for a Lawyer in Germany. I am seeking your service to help me recover some money owed me by Germany company (Loral Skynet Germany) whom I supplied technological equipments that Worth’s $420,000.00 (Four hundred and twenty thousand dollars) to this company since 16Th August 2007 and till now they have not paid the money to my account. Please I will appreciate if you will assist me in recovering the money. Let me know your conditions of service and your direct phone, fax number and your contact address so that I will advise the company to contact you as my representative.

Your immediate response will be appreciated.

Yours faithfully”

Generell gilt, niemals verdächtige E-Mail-Anlagen oder externe Links (im Text i.d.R. blau markiert) mit “anrüchigem Inhalt”, “Sicherheitshinweisen”, “Gewinnchancen” etc. zu öffnen sowie niemals seltsame E-Mails beantworten oder einen Link mit “Remove me from list” oder so ähnlich anklicken. (…)
