Let me be the one to tell you that the only thing worse than showing up an hour early for an appointment you rushed to, is to find out that your early-arrival was totally your fault. And could have been avoided had you just looked at your day planner. The cute one. From Kate Spade, that PAG gave you because she was sick of looking at your tattered day planner you bought in a clearance bin at Barnes & Noble. So, let this be a lesson to you all, to please, please check your day planner from time to time.
And now, I have a few questions to answer (from comments both recent & not so recent) and then I have a few questions for you.
Megan, do explain this Ghirardelli cocoa powder + gross office coffee combo. What kind of cocoa powder? How much per cup of coffee? I'm intrigued.
S, S. and s2...are you the same person? One people? Are there 3 of you? I want to know. Are there really that many names that start with S? Perhaps there are. But I'm curious. So please, fill me in! And to the one who asked, I have no idea how my neck is more bendy than other people's. But today, at my first physical therapy appointment he said I was "much more flexible than the average person" so um, yeah....I've got nothing. Except some flexibility. But no, I still can't do the splits. I lost that skill in 7th grade and it has never come back to me. Tragic, I know.
NFC, your acronym also intrigues me. I doubt that the National Football Conference is commenting here, so I'm wondering...is this initials? An acronym for an awesome nickname? The letters that popped into your head before you left a comment and in reality your name is Mary & you just didn't feel like saying that.
Katie, I don't need your silly blue Le Creuset dutch oven because Grace has an "extra" that she is giving me. She isn't sure why I care, but apparently there is an unloved dutch oven at her house that I am adopting. I plan on making a pot roast with it & I couldn't be happier. Muahahaha.
And, I'm curious how concerned you would be if your physical therapist looked you straight in the eye and informed you that your back injury was "very concerning" and to be "vigilant" about not doing anything more than sitting & lying in bed because if not I could earn myself 6 weeks of bed rest, and that we were going to come up with a comprehensive way to deal with it & its severity. But! In other news! My shoulder is super fix-able. I should be back to full shoulder strength in no time. And as it turns out, the rotator cuff is only irritated because the tendon that attaches my bicep to my shoulder is the real culprit, and it is simultaneously irritating my rotator cuff. But apparently this is quite fixable. My back? My back is a mess. The end.
