ADVERTISEMENTS
As regards to Graphic Design...- MicroHell Publisher is not a design tool. It is for hacks who think Comic Sans is cute and blinking links rawk.
- Microsoft Paint...
. I will dismiss you from a design conversation when I hear this out of your mouth. - Show me how to make Adobe Illustrator walk on water and I'm pretty much yours for the taking.
- Adobe Design Standard CS3 is a package much like Microsoft Office is a package.
- Adobe Design Standard is not a program.
- InDesign is far superior to Publisher.
- Do not, under any circumstance, pronounce Apples' operating system - "Aus", it is "Oh-Ess".
- Your dicking around with Photoshop Elements does not make you a Photoshop CS3 expert. Hell, I've used it for 15+ years and I'm *still* not an expert at it. Never will be.
- Telling me the importance of why you are using the same font to create commonality and consistency throughout a presentation is like telling a fish how to swim.
- No, yellow font against a white background is not "cutting edge".
- Neither is "techno" style fonts.
- Keep it simple.
- Keep it clean.
- Don't follow trends. Make them.
- Use smart quotes. Please.
- I am a designer and not a fucking magician.
- Excel is not a format I ever want to see used for a logo. Again.
- Microsoft Word is not a design tool. Neither is Powerpoint.
