: [ Useless Dicta ]A Final Letter (hopefully!) to Useless Law
It's been 16 days since graduation for the class of 2009, and 18 days since final exams for the Spring 2009 semester ended. I know that posting grades in a timely manner has never been a forte of yours. The professors at Useless Law are rather lazy about grading, especially over the summer break, and sometimes it's July before we finally know how the spring semester turned out. However, something dawned on me today as I'm sitting here immersed in Contracts and Sales for that tiny little quiz I still have to take at the end of July. You must certify to Useless State Bar Examiners that I have indeed graduated before I sit for the July exam. Doing that will require that I at least passed all of my final semester classes with a D or better. Now granted, I've never gotten a D before, so it is unlikely that I would get anything lower than a D now, but still shouldn't the professors at Useless Law have to get grades for the graduated peeps in to you in a timely manner? I am going to be far beyond crabby if I find out 3-5 weeks from now, after already diving head first into bar prep, that I didn't in fact graduate and that I have to make up credits for a failed class this fall. Again, unlikely for me since I haven't gotten anything lower than a C so far in law school, but it would still be nice to know for sure that law school is in fact totally and officially over before I put too much more effort into these BarBri books. Even just 1 or 2 grades at this point would be nice. In fact, I'm really just looking for my grade from Corporations, that's the only class that would realistically keep me from graduating. So if you could be ever so kind as to light a fire under Useless Corporations Professor's Ass to get those grades in I'd really appreciate it.
Sincerely,
[Useless Dicta, J.D.]
