When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Easy

ADVERTISEMENTS
A recent prostitution sting in Kentucky netted, among others, a woman who was trading sex for a $100 gas card. County prosecutor Ken Easterling drew the obvious conclusion, stating, ?It?s sad when people are selling their bodies for gas.? (On the bright side, the woman?s boyfriend decided she was simply a cheater, not a prostitute.)

Such sex-for-gas scenarios don?t always have happy endings, however. After bartering with a male acquaintance, one Arizona woman took to attacking her would-be petrol supplier with a pair of scissors, leaving them both covered in blood. Besides being arrested, the woman nearly severed one of her own fingers, and, judging from her picture, quite a bit of her hair, too.

Meanwhile, Shady Lady Ranch began offering free gas cards to patrons who would make the drive out to the Beatty, NV brothel. Owner James Davis reported business has been ?rocking along?-- yes, he really said that-- despite the fact that the summer months usually bring a slump in business.

I know what you?re probably thinking: What is our country coming to? Do I really want to bring children into this kind of society? Well, rest easy?23/6 provides 5 talking points for you to use when you discuss ?gas-sex? with your children. *Spoiler alert!* It?s all about viscosity.
