Answering the questions that bring people to my blog in another fun attempt to fulfill my NaBloPoMo quota:

How to give a pirate toast

As the mother of a four year old who went as the Dread Pirate Clownfish for Halloween, I feel uniquely qualified to answer this question. First, you put some bread into a kitchen appliance with coils that give off heat once the appliance is turned on. Wait. When the appliance spits forth the now browned bread, add butter and jam. Put the buttered, jammed bread on a plate and put the plate in front of your pirate. You have now given a pirate toast.

Memo + iied

Law school memos are inflicted intentionally. The professors who assign them often could not hack it in the real world of law, so they come up with outrageous topics to keep themselves from going batsh*t crazy from reading the same boring stuff year after year. Law students typically suffer distress as a direct result. This distress is manifested through lost sleep, excess caffeine consumption, repeated banging of head against desk, crying, rending of garments, gnashing of teeth, binge drinking, and ill-advised blog posting.
