Haaappy Biiirthday To LBAAAAAAAAAA

No, that isn't Legally Blonde Ambition x 1 million, its just, you know, what it would sound like if you sang Happy Birthday to my blog. Because LBA turns one year old today. Lets review the past year:

- I finished my second year of law school. Big yay. I started my third year. Big something, tbd.

- I started working at BPLF which now owns my soul, according to others in my life. I argue they only own part of it. Yeah.

- PAG and Scarlett and I continue to make bad decisions. Eh, what else is new?

- The Earth turned into a frozen tundra. Or at least, the part of the Earth I live on. Rather than a goobery basset hound I'm seriously considering investing in a pet penguin.

- My Good Guy Friend turned in Boy I Sometimes Makeout With. For those of you who don't go out for cocktails with me on a regular basis, I should probably fess up and say that BISMOW and I are actually in a real, live relationship. Serious shit people. Serious. Or, you know, as serious as two goofy people can be, like last night when I sort of fell out of my desk chair, flopped halfway on the bed, and then sort of fell off the bed all while BISMOW pointed and laughed. But yeah. My coordination is not the issue here.

- Mama & Papa Duke began building their dream home, complete with a room I get to call my own. Now if only I could convince them it really is economical to get me a season ski pass every year still.....

- New Orleans hosted multiple events for the nation (The Sugar Bowl, the BCS Championship Bowl, the NBA All-Star Weekend) and did so without a hitch. Geauxxxxx New Orleans!!

- My coworker, Boston, realized that her direct deposits from her work paychecks, have in fact, been deposited in someone else's checking account for the past month and a half. Seriously, why can't that happen to me? Happy 2008 to that individual.

- Eddie & HASWOE did not come to visit. Not once. And so, they are shunned. Or, actually, "BOOO" to them.

- Anonymous Hottie got creepily and scarily organized for approximately two weeks and I worried for her well being. Luckily the last time I was over at her place I had to move some random clothes off the bed in order to lounge and Murphy found a sock under the couch, along with 8 tennis balls. So the world has righted itself.

- Legally Blonde Ambition has gotten over 20,000 visits & averages right around 100 visitors on any given day. I read an article once that said only 6% of blogs get 100 readers or more a day, so thank you thank you thank you to all my readers out there who make this corner of the internet so much fun.

Now I'm going to organize my sock drawer. Again.
