: Legally Blonde AmbitionI Love This Crazy, Tragic, Sometimes Almost Magic, Awful, Beautiful Life

That post I wrote. About karma & good deeds and paying it forward? Well I'm continuing the challenge through the weekend to see how many good deeds we can get and also because while you might look and say "17 comments, yay!" about a million of those are taken up by the Namby Pamby and his deeds that FAIL. Namby, I'm onto you. Now go do something nice. For real. (And so what if my math is flawed? I'm not a mathematician. But my Grandpa is. True story.) But in other news that post was ironic because no sooner did I hit "publish" when cracks in my life began to widen and suddenly, without warning, a whole storm of bad came raining down or flooding up and I'm thinking to myself "What? Why?" and have no idea what to do with all the thoughts swirling in my brain. All I can think is to curl up on my couch and watch Titanic (because in all reality, nothing in my life is as bad as my love DYING in a FROZEN SEA OF ICE) nine times in a row and maybe somewhere in there order some Chinese food because at the end of that, everything has to be better, right?
Probably not. I understand why some species eat their young and others squash the ones they procreate with, and I bet out there is some insect that kills its parents or something equally bizarre sounding to the nice scientist that discovers it, but to us, the rest of the world, we say "Yeah I could totally be up for that on certain days. Or EVERY day."
I won't be posting for the weekend because I need to spend some time dealing with some sadness in BISMOW's family and then letting my heart heal a little. I don't know how one heals their heart, other than I wish it could be done with a Hallmark card or a bag of candy, but I fear there is more to it than that. So if you have a moment, as a reader or lurker or follower or creepy stalker to leave a nice comment or a funny story or something because I could use some uplifting in my life right about now. If you need more of a reason than that, well, um all I've got other than this is DUDE. MY SPINE. IT IS BROKEN. But I'm sure you remember that too.
And next week I'll be back, my usual self of THE BAR EXAM RESULTS and MY SPINE THAT IS BROKEN and stories of BISMOW and I and our awesome educational TV watching while eating cupcakes from Molly's Cupcakes, and eh, maybe I'll throw in a story about Papa Duke's hilarious text messages he sent me from Oktoberfest that were, I kid you not, three languages. Except he only speaks one.
But until then, well, I'll be figuring out how to put myself back together. Thanks for understanding.
