Every time I think I'm done using this tag for a while...

I got a letter yesterday asking for one-time reprint rights for  my short story "What Aunt Marta Did." They want to include it in an anthology used as a textbook in writing courses by a company that does correspondence writing courses and writers' groups and whatnot.  Satisfied myself that they are not dirty scammers (of the students). So I get another little credit, a couple copies, and a few bucks. Unexpected, but pretty neat.

Court was a lot of waiting and then over quickly. And it was hot. And I couldn't be nervous because I was busy saying "Esta bien" to my client, who was really nervous. But we came out OK.

I have not had any Feminine Hygiene Products in the house since April 2007, which is when I got pregnant. Then I didn't need them because I was nursing, and then I'd heard that the IUD sometimes kept people basically period-free. Well. Not me, apparently. Darn it. The era is over, and I'll miss it a bit.
