Project Blog Makeover

ADVERTISEMENTS
As you can see, I've been procrastinating on my bar studies to put together a totally revamped blog design. It's finally up and running! I was growing tired of the old peach color and decided since law school is over that it was the perfect time to put together something new.

Other than the new blog look the last few days have been rather uneventful. Fashionista and I are still in the planning stages of the vacay adventure and our list of places to go and stay keeps growing longer and longer, the task for this week will definitely be to narrow it down. I've spent the last 3 days in the barbri 3 day MBE workshop. I didn't do so hot on the MBE, but judging what the rest of my friends and acquaintances got I think I'm right about average for this point in the game. I wasn't expecting the 2 day review to be helpful, and I was in fact looking forward to ditching it and having a weekend, but surprisingly it was very helpful and I think if I took another MBE tomorrow without studying anymore law I would improve my raw score by 10 points just off of the tips that we went over. So I suppose if it really does end up helping then giving up the entire weekend was worth it.

I'm also pretty sure I have "barzam elbow." It's similar to tennis elbow and occurs from overuse of my right hand/arm in writing notes, note cards, and filling in bubbles on MBEs. It really is surprising how much writing by hand hurts both my hand and my entire lower arm since I have been so accustomed to using my laptop almost exclusively for the past 3 years. Think studying for the bar counts as "work" for purposes of a worker's comp claim? Just a thought......

Let me know what you all think of the new digs- also I can only test the layout in Safari and Firefox, so if any of you Internet Explorer people out there encounter problems getting it to show up correctly let me know!!
