Quiet

ADVERTISEMENTS
Last night we had many drinks. There is a music festival going on in our neighborhood, and there were a lot of people around at the bar. We ordered pizza and hung out talking to people for hours. And had many drinks.

Tonight, we decided to stay in and grill some tuna. Now Curt and Devin are watching a movie about bank robberies and I am playing on the interwebs. A nice quiet evening.

Work is still busy but not as crazy as it was. I do have to go in tomorrow, but I don't really mind it all that much - I can go in whenever I want, the phone doesn't ring at all, and I can leave when I am done with my stuff. And without the phone ringing I can crank through things that would take me hours and hours to do on a regular day.

I've been working 8:30 to 6 pm, or maybe 8 to 5:30, and then going to the gym. It's fine, the hours are not all that long - but I am NEVER home before 7 pm. Which is getting kind of old, actually. I need to start going to work out first thing in the morning again. Working out at 6:30 am is kind of awful but at least then it's over for the day. And the first half of the workout always passes in a fog of not being awake yet.

Bar results on Friday. I feel sort of ill every time I think about it. I really, really hope that I passed - I am dying to get away from the phones at the front of the office and start seeing my own clients.
