Thanksgiving and Green Beans

I am totally exhausted right now, and for a change it's not because of law school. It's because of Thanksgiving. My family (parents) host every year which means we always get to spend the day doing all the cooking and all the cleaning before the rest of the extended family comes over. Then we get to do all of the entertaining of the extended family, and finally just before the clock strikes midnight and Cinderella's carriage turns back into a pumpkin (and I officially miss a NaBloPoMo deadline) we finally get to sit down and put our feet up. Totally.......freaking.........exhausting.............

Exhaustion aside it was a good Thanksgiving, plenty average for my family. Tons of good food and plenty of inter-familial arguments, snide remarks and annoyances to keep things slightly interesting.

In other news, bloggers today are talking about green beans. If you need an explanation of what "green beans" means click on that link and read through the post and the comments section, there's many entertaining posts out there on the subject. I'm totally tempted to play along, but I just can't bring myself to kiss and tell, cause I'm not that kind of girl. So I'll just leave it at that.

Happy Thanksgiving!
