Thou Shall

ADVERTISEMENTS
If you are ever going to trial, I would highly recommend you "google" all the parties to the case as well as any expert witness you or the other side have proffered.

Because you might just hit paydirt. It might be inadmissible paydirt, but it might also add the perfect fuel to the fire to make you remember why you do this.

Said paydirt might or might not entail an entire freaking website dedicated to the ineptitude of a physician serving as an expert witness on your opponents side. And the website might or might not graphically show and explain how the expert witness performed invasive brain surgery on the wrong side of someones head. And then realized, oops, I had the MRI flipped over, the tumor is on the ottther side. (And of course, for all you medical people out there that think I'm picking on someone, the medical records on the website clearly show the physician skipped the "control step" to ensure this didn't happen. Like, right on the medical records it was stated that the control step wasn't taken. Not that I recommend not charting mistakes. But you catch my drift.)

And you might feel a teensy bit better about helping your boss pummel his opinions into tiny tiny bits.

Repeat after me: Thou Shall Always Google The Parties & Witnesses
