The [German rescue] bill passed by a margin of just seven votes, with half a dozen members of her conservative coalition voting against it."The opponents in Germany seem not to understand that this measure was necessary to counter money speculators who are trying to cash in on the present financial situation in Europe, where the problems at their core are not as severe as they are made out in the news reports.
