: TalkLeftFriday Morning Open Thread: X Games in Aspen
By Jeralyn
Shaun White's snowboarding skills were on full display last night in Aspen at the X Games. Really beautiful to watch, especially in slow motion. He topped the elims and now has set the bar quite high.
I may not like traditional sports, like ball games, but I love action and Xtreme sports, including snowboarding . [More...]
It probably comes from my xTreme clients over the years. What I love most about watching them, is the speed and beauty and fearlessness in their execution. Since we now have Sports Left, I put a video up of Shaun White's great run last night at the X Games stovepiping semifinals. They clip plays him in real time and then breaks He won, and has now set the bar quite high. Hope you watch it, so you can have a bit of physical beuaty in your mind as you're starting your day.
I won't be posting much on Sports Left, as most sports don't interest me, but the XGames, which are this weekend in Aspen do, as will the Vancouver Winter Olympics. So you may see a few posts onf BTD's sport sights. Each post has the author's name, so don't assume he wrote mine, check first. Besides, just like at TalkLeft, after reading the first few sentences, you'll clearly know which one of us wrote it by words and style, and if you're still not sure, each post displays the author's name at the top.
Sports Left is for BTD, but I don't think he'll mind if a make a few contributions..
