Law firms used to be about relationships...and trust. Both have been broken by big firms who willingly have traded their culture for currency. Is this bottom-line model sustainable? The answer has to be, "No." Because, it ignores what law firms need to fuel their engines: associates who are invested in the firm and the future of the institution.
