Obama aides said Tarullo (Georgetown, Michigan Law) is one of a number of advisers assigned to the issue. Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm (UC-Berkeley, Harvard Law) and former Michigan Rep. David Bonior (not a lawyer) have been given prominent seats at the table.
From 1995 to 1998, Tarullo, who teaches international law at Georgetown, was President Clinton’s personal representative to the G7/G8 group of industrialized nations. From 1981-1987 he taught at Harvard Law School. (Obama began Harvard law in 1988.)
