: The Illinois Trial Practice BlogCarry the Rules With You On Your iPhone
By Evan Schaeffer
At the old firm many years ago, the partners used to shake their fingers at any associate who asked a question that could be easily answered by reference to the rules.
"Read them this weekend," they'd say. "What do you think the weekends are for?"
They weren't joking. It's only one of the reasons you won't find me at the old firm anymore.
If only the iPhone had existed in 1990! Now you can carry the rules with you everywhere, allowing you to consult or study them whenever you have a spare moment--waiting in a line, sitting at a deposition, drinking beer at a ballgame.
You'll find all the details about two competing versions of law-rules-on-your-iPhone at iPhone J.D.--
In sum, two well-written, comprehensive posts from a well-written, comprehensive weblog. Now get to work!
