In a confirmation that life insurance companies issuing structured settlement annuities have weathered the storm, A.M. Best Co. revised the outlook to stable from negative and affirmed the financial strength rating of A+ (Superior) and issuer credit ratings (ICR) of "aa-" of the domestic life/health insurance companies of Prudential Financial, Inc. The Prudential Insurance Company of America is the underwriting company for structured settlement annuities

According to A.M. Best, the revised outlook reflects Prudential's strong market position in its diversified businesses, improved liquidity and capitalization as a result of successful capital raises, positive net operating gains and prospects for improved organic growth.
