Kean Miller Update - Hurricane Gustav - September 3

Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Gustav, Kean Miller's offices will be closed as our Management Team evaluates the effects of the storm on the communities where we live and work.  

• The New Orleans office of Kean Miller will be closed on Wednesday, September 3rd. A decision on the status of the New Orleans office for Thursday, September 4th will be made on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.  
• The Baton Rouge (Downtown and Bluebonnet), and Plaquemine offices of Kean Miller will be closed on Wednesday, September 3rd. 
• The downtown Baton Rouge office at One American Place currently has electric power and our facilities are unimpaired.  The building is accessible and secure.
• The Lake Charles office will be open on Thursday, September 4th.
• The firm's computer system and email service is up and running and all data is secure.

The Management Team is monitoring the situation carefully in accordance with firm's disaster recovery plan.  There are currently more than 750,000 Louisiana residents without power.  There is widespread wind damage, downed power lines, and fallen trees across South Louisiana.
