Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Intellectual Property Group is experiencing dynamic growth regionally and nationally. Our Alexandria, Virginia office has an immediate opening and seeks a patent associate with two to four years of experience to handle matters in mechanical technologies. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, drafting patent applications, other prosecution related documents, and opinion letters. Some familiarity with patent law, such as previous work experience or law school courses is required. A registered patent attorney is required and Virginia Bar preferred.
