: Des Moines Personal Injury LawyerFood Safety: Melamine contamination finds its way onto shelves in Vietnam
By Steve Lombardi
The Health Ministry Chief Inspector is cracking down on imported dairy related products after tests revealed melamine contamination in 19 different products from different suppliers. Contaminated milk totaled 180 tons along with 95 tons of powered milk. Some of the milk products were imported from Australia. These findings are scaring parents into having their children tested for kidney stones. Children affected by the melamine-contaminated infant formula may show signs of poisoning with it being difficult to urinate. They will cry when attempting to urinate.
When travelling to Vietnam be cautious of the following products.
