Missouri law designed to reduce drunk driving injury accidents

A new law in Missouri will require people with multiple drunk driving convictions to install breathalyzer interlocks in their cars, according to the Hannibal Courier-Post. These interlocks keep the car from starting until the driver breathes into a detector that measures blood alcohol content. If they are above the legal limit, the car will not start. The driver will have to re-test every 15 minutes while the engine is running to make sure the driver stays sober. The interlock will also record read more
