: Des Moines Personal Injury LawyerThe power of the Internet moves the State of Nebraska
By Steve Lombardi
What started out as a prank caused the State of Nebraska to nullify its pick your favorite license plate contest. The site collegehumor.com got wind that the state of Nebraska wanted Internet viewers to pick their favorite license plate design. The college pranksters encouraged everyone to vote for the most boring design; which ended up winning. The Nebraska Governor's office was forced to go back, filter the voting to exclude what they believed were the humor votes and then to select the plate design with the meadowlark and the goldenrod.
The license plates are available by following the links.
