I generally hate the Christmas season.  It has always been for me the time of low cash flow combined with the most costly of time.  The social pressures placed on everyone is so great, it disrupts the enjoyment of the season.  The rush.  The tough.  The anger. The depression.  The frivolous attitudes.  The tension over money is enormous. Everybody skip their responsibilities so no constructive work gets done.  The insurance, tuition and other bills not only increase unmercifully, but they become due. The greed is keen.  It aggravates me.  But, today our church choir sang O' Holy Night,  That song just melts the ice for me.  I close my eyes, take a deep breath, listen, and all of the stress dissipates.  It is the trigger for me, and it is what hearkens me back to the time we are suppose to celebrate.  It calms me.  It offers me peace.  It remind me to let it all go and everything will be alright.
