I've blogged before about the American River College Student Counsel, which gained some notoriety last year by supporting Proposition 8, California's anti-gay-marriage Constitutional Amendment.

I noted and encouraged the attempt to oust the old counsel and here, somewhat belatedly is news of the results.

In something of a trend of late, sanity out polled extreme right wing religious lunacy.

But, predictably, it got ugly before it was over ... in fact, before it barely began.
