Die Krankenhäuser werden zur Zeit oft privatisiert und die Bibliotheken gerne für entbehrlich gehalten. In Bogenhausen - es handelt sich laut dem Bericht des Wochenanzeigers um eine Patientenbibliothek - nun wurde die Krankenhausbibliothek gerettet, indem die Stadt die Hälfte des Etats übernimmt. Sie ist ab jetzt auch öffentlich zugänglich.
